What to do with face irritation from CPAP machine?

Hello!

First time with CPAP and my face has redness which I am not sure if it is from topical infection, topical allergy or just pressure.

Any idea how to stop that because I look hideously?

unusual situation for cpap. the only thing I could think of is you are reacting from something coming from the mask. make sure your tubes and mask are cleaned regularly with soap and water. I use wipes for the mask daily. I disinfect the mask and tube interminantly, probably twice a year, with ozone contraption I got. never had an issue with allergic reaction.
