I wouldn't change a thing until you've got your diagnosis confirmed. You don't want to give a false reading and get a false diagnosis!
After that, if you are diagnosed diabetic, come back, have a good read round, and ask any questions you like. We're here to help!
I agree with the others' suggestions re your lunch, though. Eating to control your diabetes - "eat to your meter" we call it - is not difficult, it just needs a new mindset. Do try to get them to give you a blood glucose meter and test strips on prescription. Some PCTs are reluctant to do this - tell your GP you want to control your diabetes by diet, and you'll need a metre to find out what foods affect your blood glucose badly.
