Hi all, hba1c test being done on Friday and I am half excited to find out how I'm doing and half scared in case I haven't done so well.
I have been following lchf since 26th January and testing frequently to identify things I should avoid.
Last night before bed I was 7.1. Tested at 4.30am 9.3, went back to sleep.
6.15am 9.3 coffee and cream
8.10am 9.3. 2 fried eggs for breakfast
10.10am 9.3
1.30pm 9.3 150g roast pork
3.30pm 9.3

Do you think this is odd?

I am tempted to eat something I know will cause a higher reading just to see if Meter is working but the good side of me said ask your forum buddies for suggestions for dinner.

Weird I have to say! Maybe your meter is stuck like my insulin pen dialer. Leave it until tomorrow, then you will know for sure!

What ever you decide on for dinner why not test after 1 hour and then 2 hours then you should see a rise and fall.

Thanks @PansyP and @Mr_Pot I decided to have creamy leeks (leeks, butter and Philadelphia cheese) but only a small portion and a small piece of salmon. It was delicious and I will test at one and two hours.

@PansyP and @Mr_Pot I have tested after 1 hour and 3 minutes and it is now 9.1. This means that my meter isn't stuck. If it goes lower at the 2 hour point I will be very pleased. Last time I had creamy leeks I was 11.1 after two hours.
I am so glad someone on this forum advised me to write things down in a diary.

Stange that there isn't that much of a difference. How do you other days readings compare?
