C peptide is a proxy for insulin levels and is often used to differentiate type 1 from type 2 but it seems there's different types of type 1s too. All about variability in c peptide levels dependent on age at diagnosis and duration of diagnosis. Doesn't seem to be selling anything since sadly there's no way to reverse beta cell death that causes insulin not to be produced, but interesting that age of diagnosis makes a difference.
