Some fantastic readings guys, I would be over the moon with a 7.5 or thereabouts in a morning. Im more like you @Millie_ - where a 9 to 11 would be more average for me, its like my body stores up a week of glucose gathered from anywhere, even small amounts from random foods, and lets it all out in a night. The hard thing I find is maintaining high standards and achieving good results many years in to being diabetic. It can be very disheartening not to do well with them despite exercising, running & eating well.
An amazing 6.1 this morning. Was out for sister in law and father in law's birthday and allowed myself two glasses of red (first alcohol in three and a half months) and a slice of birthday cake so that, on top of my still stubbornly clinging on cold, meant I was expecting to rack up big numbers. Perhaps I am, on occasion, going to be able to indulge after all?
