What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

Sorry I don't know who Tom Brady is. I thought you were talking about Wayne Rooney. I used to know who he was.

Ok I resisted the urge long enough

Destiny 2 is a 'massively multiplayer online role-playing game' or MMORPG for short. There are two 'forms' of players, actual players like me and non-player characters (NPC) that are computer-generated. Destiny 2 breaks down into two forms -
  • Player versus player (PVP) what it says on the tin, all contests are between real people
  • Player versus environment (PVE) is a real player versus computer reality.
I prefer PVE because I don't like 'killing' real people, I find it weird. Also, the game has a range of stories (conquests, discovery etc) that you can take part in to win advancement in rank (those numbers we spoke of 960,840,900), new skills, weapons and upgrades.

It all takes place over several simulated planets that have been invaded by certain types of aliens. In the game, you can choose to 'design' your character within limits. I chose a female Hunter who comes with a wide skill set that I can change for each encounter. The other base forms are Warlock and Titan. Titan is a brute force character, Warlocks fly around like fairies

Because the game is social at its core you have clans created by players. You can join a clan that has the same values as you do, form a new one with friends, or play alone. Clans are competitive by nature and will generally indulge in PvP. This video is a starter, well... you asked for it!

Now come on there's no need to be that cynical...you can trust me

Hopefully I will be able to emulate you as well. After all the grocery store is right next door and there were still plenty of Pop Tarts on the shelf when I was there!
I must go back on Thursday to pick up test strips and lancets. My food stamps will have been refilled by then too ...
Hopefully my will power will be renewed as well!

Hugs for all that weirdness @SaskiaKC
Hope you chill out a bit today.

I couldn’t sleep last night. In bed awake. Popeye knew I was stressed so he sat all night looking at my face and put his hands round my paw...

KittenCat will take care of you.

Are you on a computer with mouse, or a phone or tablet? I can walk you through doing it with a mouse.
Thank you for your offer of help. As soon as I moved from my tablet to my PC I realised that I could copy the emoji on my PC but not on my tablet.

This was the emoji I really loved and will now be able to use.

Yay! I'm glad it worked.
I hope to join @gennepher and you if you take her up on her offer to walk you through the phone/tablet way to do it.

All morning she has been calling me away from the computer to join her on the bed. Last time I did, she was being Thumper and when I attacked her hind leg she attacked my hand.
So now I am going to log off here and play with her.
Enjoy your Sunday everyone.
^. .^

May I join the walk-through when you do it please? I've been trying and trying to follow the instructions on the emojis site on my phone but it isn't working for me.
Yes. You have Android don’t you @SaskiaKC
I am tired today and just chilling out now. My head isn’t quite together today. I haven’t had much sleep at all last night. Remind me tomorrow. If it doesn’t work one way then there is a different way to do it.

@SaskiaKC just catching up on the thread and I cant believe the disturbing night you and the KC had. Gosh that must have been scary and then tedious. Thank goodness you and the KC weren't evacuated. I bet you are tired today, hope you can have a gentle day.

Thank you for the offer of help but my tablet is a really basic Android Kindle Fire and there seems to be absolutely no way to copy the emoji.
Okay, I know absolutely nothing about the Kindle Fire. But, the Emojis on the smile site give an option to download. If it is possible to download the emoji, then within the docs app there is local storage where you should find the emoji. Then I am assuming that when you want the emoji for this site, you press upload a file and you should find it in local storage.
But I know nothing about the Kindle Fire.
