Thankyou, I do love skies so glad I am painting them again. Strange though because as much as I like big skies I don't like flat scenery where you see amazing sky scapes, sorry @ianpspursThis painting is amazing. Your clouds are absolutely magnificent @Muddy Cyclist
They look very accomplished. Beetroot crisps work well as do parsnip crisps - cut very fine to keep carbs down. Mandolin wind can be a problem. By now you must have a house full. Not so much a bubble, more a jacuzzi.First attempt at courgette crisps.
Now have five more in fridge. Also wondering about beetroot crisps. View attachment 42145
No problem with car by parsnips, they failed to germinate. But there are beetroot in the garden, planted for MrSlim, I tried learning to like beetroot last year, but abandoned the experiment after several months, when it became clear that my dislike was actually growing. However beetroot crisps are acceptable. They look very accomplished. Beetroot crisps work well as do parsnip crisps - cut very fine to keep carbs down. Mandolin wind can be a problem. ive still got one in the garden ..used as walls for composting garden vegetation ....I am writing out my postcards now for my Postcrossing.
This is one I'm sending, and then I thought do any of you remember the Anderson shelters. That is the one on the left on the side of the postcard, not that fancy fairytale one on the right!
It was sunk into the garden much further down than the one on the left, so you had to go down steps to get into it. There were loads of them all about the place, and in everyone's gardens then. This was a few years after the war and they were still around. Some households used them as gardening sheds....

Most were properly crispy. Few a little chewy. Decent result for first attempt. They look good, how crispy did you get them.
Dip recipes available all over the interweb.
Every now and then I toy with the idea of getting a dehydrator but then list all the reasons why buying such a thing is not a good idea. Most were properly crispy. Few a little chewy. Decent result for first attempt.
JFDI - you can't take it with you and counting it must take at least 2 days a weekEvery now and then I toy with the idea of getting a dehydrator but then list all the reasons why buying such a thing is not a good idea.
Does the second letter stand for the word focus? Or is it something else?JFDI - you can't take it with you and counting it must take at least 2 days a week. Our new oven has the facility built in. Kale crisps, veggie crisps and dehydrated raspberries work well IMHO but what do I know.
Good luck to her ladyship.6.2 this morning as I join @gennepher in the weird dream dept. In mine, I was trying to prevent children from throwing their shoes under the wheels of moving cars. Not my usual type of dream
Out and about again today as her ladyship is due in for her op.
Do your best with your day, it will be over too soon
Huge fan of tomatoes in almost every form - sundried the standout exception. I was distraught reading Dr Bernstein basically saying avoid tomatoes. Just not possible for me. I usually have toms twice a day in some form but not dried. We bottled and froze loads back in The Old Country. Spot on about the FDoes the second letter stand for the word focus? Or is it something else?
Our current oven has a warming drawer underneath and I can set temperatures up to 80 Deg C - I think that 50 to 60 Deg C does the job pretty well.
Have you tried tomatoes?
