What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

Thank you @geefull and I hadn’t thought that Frisia fumigation could sort out potential viral droplets - good call. A wonderful peaceful piece from you today.

When Mrs Miggins had her static caravans business the single bed sizes were 6ft x 2ft 6 inches - what a chew. When we retired we had a bed made (I have an S shaped spine - all the rage at one time) - so 2 x 3ft 6 in mattresses side by side, each on their own electric frames (don’t touch that dial) - I have no idea where the duvet comes from, nor the cover, but it’s big - and square and of no use on any other beds in the house.

Wow. Is there no end to your skills and resourcefulness. Huge respect. Not sure I have any practical skills except maybe a bit of cooking, some grass cutting and ?? not even that good at smashing things these days.
Thanks @ianpspurs

I can always find a way to do something, but whether it wins any prizes might be another matter...

Currently we have a 3ft single, 4ft double, 4ft 6in double and our French bed is 5 ft.
Of course all the lengths are different as well.

What a chew - but still, most shapes and sizes catered for - I have just measured ours (Mrs Miggins scratches head) - seems it is not square after all and is a a superking.

Mrs Miggins must be wondering @dunelm

Mine is only a 3/4 bed. A single bed is not big enough for me and cat. Even the 3/4 is troublesome as cat takes over 2/3 of bed, leaving me with 1/3 and usually my leg is left dangling out...

I could do with a super king, but alas my bedroom is only small, and that would take the entire width of my bedroom. But it is a good job my full length glass bedroom door opens outwards into the garden, should I ever change my mind...

The dawn sky was liquid gold. Then it was a vivid pink.
My latest offering. Apologies to Lin Fengmian.

Good morning everyone from a morning of hope in the narrow margins of sunshine, here in the dark and dangerous north
The wonder wheel of a fine steak dinner came home at 4.8 this am

A very lazy day yesterday - mainly in the garden - wearing gloves, handling sharp tools, potting on, potting in, trimming, generally tidying, fiddling with a small water feature that the birds like to dip their beaks into and testing out the idea that you can multi-task; sit on a garden chair, under a parasol and sip wine whilst at the same time holding a conversation.

The word ‘super’ is creeping up the ladder of popularity for those who waste words like they grow on trees. Is there a scale? What is the difference between ‘good’ and ‘super good’ and is it different from ‘good’, ‘very good’ and ‘very very good’ - and how can you tell? Does it work with the word ‘satisfactory’ can there be a ‘super excellent’ and does it trump ‘super smashing great’?

Art bit - can I use resist to construct where water flows instead of just not inking that area? Seems like you can, must play more. Have a super Tuesday if you can (there it is again!) - koffy time.

Brilliant @dunelm
Love this.
The use of the yellow is uplifting to me.
I am assuming this is on rice paper, and if so then what resist do you use on the rice paper, if you don't mind me asking, thank you.

Thank you @gennepher and pleased that it gave you a lift. Yes, this is on rice paper (8in x 4in). I used a brushable wax resist. It can be thinned using a wax solvent and added sparingly using a very small brush.

I seem to have stumbled into the thread on bed and associated linen sizes mingled with comparatives and superlatives. 1 x king size, 2 x double, 1 cot, 1 each of inflatable single and double since we are on that topic. Oh, all linen must be white as per crockery and walls, ideally. It is still June isn't it? As for fbg I'll go with the 5.3 not the 4.5 which were both available from Swipey. The lower one probably due to laying on the sensor just prior to swipeywipeydoo. Bloods done for first time in 18 months now for the next crisis. Odd readings yesterday and so far today which the rest of the data makes me think is due to alien (to me) pollen. Fab art again Popeye - pass my regards on to @gennepher who probably thinks she did it all. Fine piece of art there @dunelm and whizzo fbg from that there steak. Don't you get the S Fry ads (exhorting one to eat Sainsbury's fruit and veg to save the planet) way Oop Norf? Tinkety Tonk Old Fruits.
Edited for theirs and other assorted issues.

Popeye says thanks...

Thanks @ianpspurs - Sainsbury’s - sounds exotic and rather exentric old fruit.

Only Sainsbury's and Co-op in this here town. Now you see my dilemma. I'm thinking of starting a just giving page to fund a branch of W - (you know the rest) surely that is levelling up?. If only we had an MP in Cabinet we could lobby or cuddle up to
Edit: to whom we could

4.7 this morning.

I am feeling a bit like a market trader as I sell off my equipment. Sold a lot of cushions and mats and small equipment yesterday. Sad to see it all go, but it saves so much time now everyone brings their own. No more hours of sanitising mats and equipment, washing head cushion covers, packing everything up at the end of the day and lugging bags of it to the car. Probably the only good thing to come out of this pandemic.

Probably also swelled funds (apples always fall in orchards) and will save £s on washing and sanitising. I do hope the sainted Mr K is rewarded with some decent whisky
