We were playing Christmas tunes in a recorder quintet yesterday, rehearsing for a Christmas gig in December, you would have so enjoyed it, such a shame you can't find other musicians close to you to play with. We travel over 30 miles to rehearsal which makes a 60 mile round trip, this would be impossible on public transport or taxi and even If our government sorted cheaper more reliable public transport as one party promises I can't see it would ever improve such journeys into rural areas.Just had a thought, you could start a recorder group amongst your neighbours, you can buy them cheap enough and you sound talented enough to teach them.[USER=493719]@jjraak[/USER] thanks for support and advise regarding my HbA1c review, duly noted and appreciated.
