24-04-2020 7.00am FBG 5.2 After having an unnecessary panic about food, triggered by realising that low carb bread needs eggs...only have 16 left. Worked out that I have sufficient supplies for 21 breakfasts. (Did think more eggs, but they are at the end of supermarket and trolley was looking very full by then.)(All this food just for me?) Am now stretching out the eggs by making tuna melts and a bacon version, probably make some with ham as well. Two eggs into four or five melts, instead of two scrambled eggs. Breakfasts sorted. Six eggs into at least a dozen breakfasts. Now at least 28 days breakfasts. Bonus points for cooking all in one go, uses less gas. Umm... is there room in the freezer? Umpteen lunches... salad from the garden, tinned sardines, jars of pâté, kilo of cheese, etc. At least a month of proteins for dinner. Frozen veg, and fresh. A dozen portions of cauliflower rice. Also wholemeal penne pasta 20 per meal. Going out on my bike again today. Borderline legal, taking rubbish. @gennepher there are six houses here, four occupied. We do get occasional people passing, for exercise. There is also the language barrier. Although improving my french is still nowhere near adequate. Sizeable hole too. Did the chicken wire work? @Ryhia hugs for the mundanity. @karen8967 lucky you. My jobs list seems to grow by the day. :meh: @Muddy Cyclist great paintings in you Scottish vista series. Will catch up with others later.
