You have a brilliant day.I live on what was an old oak forest, which was used for shipbuilding. But they were felled when these bungalows were built. However, when I first moved here when I dug the garden, I found the old tree stumps. It seems by me exposing them, side shoots are growing again. And I let them, but sadly I cannot let them grow more than about 8 ft high for obvious reasons, for the size of my property. It is my way of saying sorry for what humans did to old forests. I don't get acorns, but I do get lots of oak galls.</blockquote>
