Fbg 6.7 Finally at last it is cooler. Some of the fans are allowed a short break. Fridge and freezer survived the heat onslaught... I have ordered an ice maker...should have done before, as my freezer is only tiny, a tabletop one, so I cannot store much in it, but it sufficient for my needs normally. It was actually cooler in my potting shed and garage yesterday than it was in my bungalow. No fans were needed in my potting shed yesterday, so Popeye and I retired to the potting shed for the day on Sunday... Picture or photo to come later today...will catch up later, busy busy... EDIT at 10:43am About a quarter of the neighbours have returned, but left again (they don't go to work), but AH neighbour has descended with teams and vans of workmen, and machinery. So, a cacophony of workmen. and I have gone back indoors. Then I found the temperature in my bungalow was exactly the same outdoors as indoors...23.1C. And there is no wind, so all indoor fans back on again....and windows and doors shut again... The air was too still to sketch outside so took photos and I might try later...indoors...
