Also very hard to stop a toddler sharing a treat with granddad - not sure the odd sucked/partly melted malteser, white chocolate button etc will give me complications. On the other hand rejecting their gift would lodge deep in their psyche, IMHO. Kudos for your discipline whilst recognising the girls can handle and enjoy carbs.
