What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

@JenniferW ... Just remember the most important readings are 2 hrs after you have eaten.

Thanks for this pointer - it was something I was starting to think.

I've been doing 6 tests a day (my 'on rising' and 'before breakfast' are the same thing, and often, 2 hours after my evening meal is only an hour or so before I go to bed). What's been surprising me is that the after-breakfast levels, after eating a range of different foods, is often lower. This is also sometimes the same with the before and after lunch readings.

You can see why I was wondering why you all seem to be rating this first reading of the day as significant.

This morning mine was 7.7.
 
7.8 today... and another day off it is bliss ... I think i can get used to staying at home again now...

3.3 for me....decided not to eat anything for the low and the cortisol soon bought it up!
