What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

Good morning everyone a bit late today but my BG was 5.2 this morning didn’t have a very good night last night my stomach has been acting up I was at my aunts house retching over the toilet half the night (I can’t throw up due to a surgery I had) thankfully my aunt had Cyclizine after I took that I felt a good bit better but it made me very sleepy so I had an early night last night and a lie in this morning

...and probably not the best visual metaphor in the context of this subject matter.

Good stuff @OrsonKartt data is one thing, information is better but knowledge is where its at IMHO. Right now, we live in an era where knowledge gets in the way of allowing a few rich and powerful types to pi** (or worse) all over us so it won't fly
In the same context @JohnEGreen you will be aware who is king in the land of the blind

Open to debate

In 1988 Professor of Psychology and primatologist Irwin S. Bernstein writing in the journal “Behavioral and Brain Sciences” employed the saying:

One cannot do science with independent variables held constant or allowed to vary without measurement. Astronomy did not progress by only observing dependent variables. It was the measurement and correlation of both that led to progress. Relying on anecdotes, no matter how numerous, fails to specify any value of the independent variable, or the intentional state of an animal. The plural of “anecdote” is not “data.”

The one with the biggest stick? Can't be a one eyed man as then it would not be the land of the blind it would be a land of the mostly blind.

5.7 fasting this morning.

Today is going to be a tough day. Last night my mom (90 with early-mid Alzheimer's) broke a tooth. Fortunately she has no pain but her lower plate dentures hook onto that tooth and she only has one molar left at the back on that side (and severe osteoporous which has weaked her jaw bone.) My sister and I are trying to arrange the dental service to see her ASAP, unfortunately this is a long weekend coming up here (Civic Holiday - Ontario, Canada). I'm driving to see her & picking up a dental claim form from my dad.

Don't disbelieve the story but seems like a Breitbart staple
Tom Paxton is no Breitbart disciple but he wrote a song about it
I don't want a bunny wunny
In my widdle wow boat
In my widdle wow boat in the pond
For the bunny might be crazy
And he'll bite me in the throat
In my widdle wow boat in the pond

Ok how about the plural of anecdote is the beginning of a debate?
@OrsonKartt debate where you actually bother to listen to the other side never mind engage with their views is so last century. This is the age of the denialist - how come you did not get the memo?
Edit: Wow, missed an email myself - we are now in the post denialist era - how time flies
