What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

You must be doing something right asparagusp. No hypos for the last ten days is something to be applauded.
well done.

I didn't take it this a.m. as it has been very steady the last couple of months. However, This morning, well after breakfast and taking my diabetes meds I had my lowest hypo blood glucose reading..... 3.2mmol/L. That is very low. Must be the weight loss reversing my type2 diabetes. I sure hope so.

hey hello goooood morning 4.9 mmol today 7.40 guess if i did a lot of excercise yesterday and even ate 150 gras of carbs... hurrah hurrah... it pays to keep on the hard work.

Good Morning. Here we go again - 3.6 - so I had quarter of a glucose tablet, the next two consecutive readings 15 minutes later, 8.3/6.7. Maybe the 3.6 reading was the bogus one ..... Can you get night time hypos if you inject Lantus in the morning?

6.7 this morning

Yesterday had a bit of a panic when breakfast gave me a temporary high of 12 and an hours readings in the 10-11 range. I ended up walking for 90 minutes while it came back down into the 8's. Today I thought I would try an experiment - had exactly the same food but a pint of water with vinegar in first and afterwards . Instead of sitting down to digest then going for a walk when I noticed the high, I commenced doing some gentle housework immediately after eating. The result was a temporary high of 10.3 and most readings for two hours in the 8's with the same end reading at 2 hrs - it seems the vinegar and water did significantly dampen the spike which did not get the chance to develop because I stayed active.

Well done, Freema!
