Check the carb content as they can contain rusk or other carby fillers. Sainsburys ‘taste the difference’ aren’t too bad.I like Lincolnshire sausages
Your numbers are coming down amazingly so don't be so hard on yourself . What meds are u on because if it's the good old ( cheap ) standby metformin , it should be taken either with meals or just after .8.3 mmol this morning and a small reduction on yesterday's 8.9 and I'm kicking myself for over indulging at tea time yesterday, or it might have come in even lower.
I've only just taken my morning meds..... Almost missed them, as I thought I'd taken them earlier, but hadn't
.... Wonder if this is Diabetic brain fog?
I usually take meds upon waking , so I don't miss them, but for whatever reason it never happened this morning....
Yes I'm on Metformin..,....it gets tricky taking meds with or after food. Often I skip breakfast.....Your numbers are coming down amazingly so don't be so hard on yourself . With food or straight after is the best way for them to work and also avoid any stomach / bowel problems .Yes I'm on Metformin..,....it gets tricky taking meds with or after food. Often I skip breakfast.....
You're making steady progress. While FBG numbers may rise every once in a while, (especially following sleep disurbances), one indifferent reading doesn't matter. A week's worth might.Yes I'm on Metformin..,....it gets tricky taking meds with or after food. Often I skip breakfast.....
I take (my only) metformin when I get up and very rarely have breakfast now - could explain that there is very little difference to my numbers when I forget to take it!Yes I'm on Metformin..,....it gets tricky taking meds with or after food. Often I skip breakfast.....
Thanks for this info. I take (my only) metformin when I get up and very rarely have breakfast now - could explain that there is very little difference to my numbers when I forget to take it (when on holiday). I will try & change my habit and have it with my evening meal. Forgot about the instructions on the packet as I have changed my way of eating and diet. They never tell you why though! With food or straight after is the best way for them to work and also avoid any stomach / bowel problems .
No " they " don't tell u much its a case of learning as u go it doesn't really matter when u have " breakfast " just take with meals . I'm not sure it does much for BG I find exercise does more ...but have been very lazy in that area lately .Thanks for this info. I always find that a walk - even just a short walk around the block really helps. I always try and do that after a meal and especially if I have eaten carbs - it is getting much more difficult to motivate myself though now the weather has changed and the clocks having gone back will make it even less appealing! No " they " don't tell u much its a case of learning as u go it doesn't really matter when u have " breakfast " just take with meals . PurrrfectFBG 5.8 on the fingerprick this morning, 6.2 on Libre. Nice and steady, happy with that. The feline is also a lot more like his usual self, so alls well on this windy & wet Saturday.
Hope you continue to feel better. Gentle hug to you.Reading a bit higher this morning
10.3 mmol.
Was awake most of the night with hot flushes, sweating, and a stuffy blocked nose, ( dry nose, not producing mucus).
Feeling better since awakening and nose not blocked and sweating stopped too now.
