What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

FBG 5.7 this Wednesday morning, according to Libre. I seem to have left Dawn Phenomenon in the Northern hemisphere. Although BG is now heading emphatically upwards after a breakfast of Avocado & poached egg on a slice of sourdough….! Have to walk it off later.
Have a good day, when it arrives for you all.

6.8 - Heard the Wheels screeching, a great Handbrake-Turn executed from last night‘s MONSTA 10.1! I regard this as success as my Pancreas and Meds and EndoSys come to bare down on the glucose. Watch words for the last days prior to Monday is gonna be tempered-abstinence. Sustaining my lower plateau is the best Present I can give myself, that, and more walking.

BG 8.5 mmol.
Levels for the past week have been in the 4s or 5s mmol, so today's BG 8.5 mmol seems a let down.
There is a reason behind the increase though, as I have a fungal infection that's being treated with Clotrimazole cream.
Here's what Google says.....

Clotrimazole......
Topical corticosteroids (applies to betamethasone/clotrimazole topical) diabetes. Corticosteroids can raise blood glucose level by antagonizing the action and suppressing the secretion of insulin, which results in inhibition of peripheral glucose uptake and increased gluconeogenesis.

So there you have it.
4.7mmo yesterday and 8.5mmol today and only real difference was medication.

Good hump day everyone.
I didn’t test yesterday as my alarm failed to,go off leaving me with just one hour to finish packing and get washed and dressed and catch my train doon south. Thereafter it was a day of Libre alarms shrieking due to stress and dehydration.
So this morning’s results were better than expected but knocked me out of the hive.

Libre 7.3 (already down to 6.5 and falling after the initial burst of energy and subsequent glucose flood from actually getting out of bed to find my meter)
Finger prick 6.4

Another series of train journeys across southern England to my other daughter today, so I am doubtful of better readings tomorrow. :;

Have you tried it with marmite on the soughdough, my favourite breakfast

Aw, man!! You had to say that . . I was getting ready to have my K-Ration of Blueberries, smashed nuts, Yoghurt, and Linwood's sprinkles. O..K... I keep your suggestion for later this week.

5.7 this morning and off for a work out in a bit. Have made quite a few hats recently ranging from beanie - with pom pom, newspaper boy and cloche. I do like my hats but may make them next for the chemo patients and donate. Funny how being in the 5s lifts my mood

Yay, we’ll done

15.5 :/

Started medication last week as hb was 66 this time around. Was a bit Suprised. Couldn't afford to test for a while anyway and hard to motivate myself (yeah I know) without some kind of gauge. doctor argued implicitly not to test my blood sugars as she said it’s pointless for people with t2dm lol.

15.5 is madness, been like it all day

Guess that is the kick up the **** I needed to start looking after myself again, so ya boo sucks to that doctor.
