What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

Morning All.
Felt like high summer in yesterday's sunshine. I was shocked how it felt so hot, when the sun peeped through the cloud.
February felt like July........ wow.
Think I will definitely melt away in this years
This morning the reading showed
BG 8.1 mmol.
I'm back on strong steroid treatment, so anything around 8 mmol or below I'll gladly accept.

Doesn't Sydney do his thing in gloomy weather? LoL I wouldn't count on that lasting. He might decide on a tune up later when the light improves.

Good Morning cheeky chatters.....
Went out for Chinese all you can eat buffer last night, to celebrate a family birthday. The food was delicious and I had to fully restrain myself not to dive in and pig out.......
Bearing the above in mind m happy to have BG 8.7 mmol to start the day off.
It's good that I've had no results in double fingers. I'm taking it all as a positive so far.
 
5.5 FBG this Monday morning. Working today but less on than originally scheduled so happy days.

@LivingLightly Sidney the cockerel seems to do his 'Greet the day' stuff loudest when its a bright sunny day, he's not so vocal on the murky mornings. In that, we have a lot in common! But he does have a distorted sense of time, he started up this morning at 3.15am. But I think that was because something disturbed his roosting, he shut up after about 3 or 4 minutes. Mr Pheasant, on the other hand is a perfect gentleman, just a polite errk, errk noise and you'd hardly know he was there. A lot of bird life in my garden, I'm in the middle of farmland: current tally includes two ducks, a crippled crow (wing is lame, he hops everywhere, been like that for at least a year), a barn owl and a buzzard family.

Yes using same batch of strips and feel ok the only time I feel "rough" is when my blood sugar drops to low 4's and lower .
 

Chinese was a massive favourite of mine before being type 1. Over time I’ve learnt what to, and what not to indulge on. Still love it and the last few times have not gone above 8 mmol so all positive. Enjoy !!!
