Well done @RosemaryJackson. Here's hoping for a hat trick!6.9 this morning. First time I've been in the stickies 2 days in a row.
May I ask which berries you ate with your yoghurt? @ChrisT2Libre 6.0 this morning. Absolutely crazy day yesterday, good start but sharp rise with yoghurt and berries which never came down until 4PM. Had a small portion (15g carbs) of homemade spaghetti bolognaise for dinner and shot up to 15.2 highest yet and still there at bedtime. I knew the spag bol was a bad move but didn't know just how bad. Still lesson learned and putting it down to testing out the CGM, also adding yoghurt to my "bad" list as second time it has taken my readings into outer space.
So you have a fractured toe @PenguinMum. Perhaps you stubbed your toe as you fell down?Hi All bit late as headed out to A&E to have toe xrayed more than 3 weeks after my big fall. Anyway its broken as I suspected but healing nicely. Just needed to know. Anyway FBG today was 7.3. Have a good day all.
Woohoo! Yes, you've scored a hat trick @RosemaryJackson. Well done you!Morning all. May I present my hat-trick @LivingLightly ? 6.0 this morning! One happy bunny here. Have a great day everyone.
As fruit goes, blueberries are not too ruinous @ChrisT2 but you can do better. No probs 35 g blueberries and 100g greek yoghurt.
Have you tried adding a few nuts or seeds to up the fats or a couple of eggs before to up the protein? No probs 35 g blueberries and 100g greek yoghurt.
Afraid not, just decided to cut that particular option from my breakfast choice in future. I know eggs don't cause a spike and enjoy omelette, scrambled, poached etc so will have more of those while ditching the yoghurt going forward. They say "every day is a school day" and that is certainly true regarding blood sugar.Have you tried adding a few nuts or seeds to up the fats or a couple of eggs before to up the protein?
