What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

My average varies from 6.5 - 7.8, today it was 7.3, yesterday was very high for me at 11.1 but I had been at a friends house the night before and had nibbles including things I don't normally eat, and then on the way home fancied rissole and chips at 9.30 pm - yes I know I shouldn't have but doesn't happen often. I don't normally eat after 8pm. I am not on medication only diet ( ) and my doctor is happy with these average results, and i prefer to be under the 8 mark which I usually am, sometimes down in the 5s but usually don't feel so good then. He knows I keep a spreadsheet of my results - I have taken copies in for him and I think he tells other diabetic patients about it as well. Hopefully once I get my hip operation done in the next couple of months I can do more exercise which will do me good all round .
