Yes breathing is a survival instinct I believe
Extremely beautiful place. I have visited the UK many times. The UK is beautiful and I miss fish and chips, indeed without chips. I also like the street life in the UK.Its been a nice and sunny day where we were today as well. Mind you we had driven away from the coast into a different county. Of course in the UK that's only a few miles down the road. We were in a place called Little Ayton in Yorkshire quite picturesque. with a river running through it.

Sat in a little park near the river and had fish and chips for lunch. All the batter scraped off the fish and no chips for me but I've got to say fish was lovely. Came home to the much cooler North East coast where I needed an extra jumper, Bloods were 6.4 post meal and following a cup of tea when I got home, so not too bad.
It’s called the Dawn Phenomenon! Everyone experiences as rise in BG whether they’re diabetic or not. The liver dumbs a load of glucose in your blood stream to give you a boost of energy. Most people take their fasting BG as soon as the get out of bed. What does your Libre read as soon as you sit up first thing?6.6 today at 8am. Just to prove a point Libre recorded a 3.1 at 3AM but no alarms set so slept blissfully ignorant (which is how I spend most of my life!!) Going to try avacado over next couple of days to see if it can halt or lower the annoying steady morning BG rise. Already registering 8.8 and only had a cup of black coffee first thing, no idea where the glucose is coming from must be a leaky liver.
When I have been fairly good on carb intake it is somewhere in the 6's first thing on getting up. I do understand the DP but really want to stop the rise often into the 9's or 10's every day. Exercise or fasting has no effect neither the time of day I take first metformin. I suppose really I just find it so annoying because it is something I cannot control or get a handle on not for the want of trying. It’s called the Dawn Phenomenon!
