What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

Morning All 8.5 on meter and 7.8 on Libre. Stayed in a straight line at 6 on Libre until 3am when went to loo the next two hours rose to 8 presumably thought I was up for the day at 3am. To those who suggested meds I have always resisted Metformin due having bile acid malabsorption which means I can’t leave the house without absorbing codeine. Hope to find someone sensible and knowledgable at my next review. Another here who has tried to like avocado but defo couldn’t do it first thing! Food of the devil only trumped by smoked salmon. It all in the texture for me. Happy Sunday everyone.
I buy the small hard ones from Aldi, soon as they are unsliceable ie mushy it’s a no no
Just had one with marmite & poached eggs on Heylo toast

6.8
A warm day here but mostly cloudy. Went to the gym for abs and did my own yoga class as our instructor went to Mexico for a holiday. I thought I did a pretty good job.
once home it was back out into the yard to clean up the incredible mess…..I got so much done but now I’m a tad sore….sipping on electrolytes now and having leftover butter chicken for supper.
wishing everyone a great week

Morning All 8.1 on meter so the best in over a week but no rhyme or reason. The rhyme was staying steady at 6 till 3am and then rising till I got up.
Thanks for the avo suggestions but think it would push me too far lol. I do very occasionally have half sliced avo with prawns & mayo but then I wonder why I did it! @RosemaryJackson hope the Metformin SR suits you and I will look into cinnamon. Happy Monday everyone.

8.2 this morning…. Definitely over last few weeks can see day/evening gradually getting lower but mornings are mostly being stubborn and staying in the 8’s
I found my levels dropped in steps. I would go for a few weeks at a certain level, then the numbers would lower. What are your levels like during the day. I find those are the figures most useful when trying to guesstimate Hba1c for example.
