What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

Good morning

Grey here with another cyclone warning last night. It passed this area with nothing more than heavy rain and no taxi back from the restaurant

Libre reading this morning currently 5.2

Have a good day all

7.2 this morning…. Very surprising as although I didn’t have chocolate yesterday I treated myself to a takeaway (veggie kebab without the kebab and some chicken) and 2 hours later my numbers had sky rocketed…. Lesson learned….

Interestingly I had the same takeaway 2 weeks ago from a different place and my figures only went up a little bit

Anyway it wasn’t worth it so back on straight and narrow today ….

6.5 today - family gone home so only the leftovers to eat. We had lamb for Easter Sunday dinner. Son made it while we were at church. Nice to come home to a meal waiting for us. Thank you son. Gosh the house is so quiet now!

Have a good day y'all.

Also 6.5 for me today. Very good yesterday with just steak and mushrooms for dinner and Libre flat as a pancake afterwards. Strange though started its daily rise at 3 am which is earlier than usual. Only 2 days left on CGM and back to finger stabs for a couple of weeks, strangely it does make me feel a bit vulnerable without being able to see in real time what my blood is doing but these days I have a better idea what foods are good, bad and ugly.

5.7 today, I’ll take it.
still cool out but the heat is coming….
going to vote today (early voting) for our upcoming election (Canada)…..what a dang mess the world is in.

Morning all

Blue sky and twenty degrees centigrade

Five point three on libre

The wine with supper helped

Have a good day all

What ae the rules for this fasting blood glucose test please?
I'm glad to see the numbers people are quoting look like numbers of a stab & dip meter
not those ridiculous numbers the hospital type bllod tests give you that actually mean nothing without some kind of conversion chart.. I assume there is one somewhere.
