What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

5.1 today weird last night zero food tiny bit higher than recent usual for me. Off for swim after grab breakfast. Wee town will be bustling today if dryish later will see whats up at the stadium. And hoping this evenings heavy forecast rain doesn't amount to anything fireworks etc ti make end of several day event which sees the population well over double for a few days each year

6.3 today. Put a Dexcom on last night….i just need it right now.
After a not so hot day yesterday we are back into ugly temperatures for at least another week…wow.
It did cool to 14 last night
Went to the gym, bikes for 7.5 miles, did some upper body weights and then a very short ten minute walk before a bit of shopping. I saw some sugar free maple syrup (artificial) and bought it on a whim….my sweet tooth seems so strong these days. I made some gluten free pancakes which are low carb and I totally enjoyed them. I don’t often have such processed **** but he little bit I used was ok. It was a treat

Sunday traditionally a day of rest …. Early wake up ….

Seven point one currently. Looking at my libre it’s pretty much been a seven straight line all night

Despite wanting the smallest amount of medication in my life I’m reckoning I need more insulin . I have an endo appointment at the end of the week all thoughts about what to ask are welcome

libre 4.8 today

not too sure what your post meals glucose levels are. Maybe worth researching a little into a possible basal/bonus regime as now on insulin that could within nice guidelines allow for CGM to be prescribed. alternatively switching to likes of novarapid with meals or an intermediate acting insulin 2+ times a day would that assist better (need 2+ to be "multiple injections per day to help fit criteria of prescribed free cgm).

best methods for increasing insulin sensitivity so your body's own can perhaps do a little better with assisting control.

recremmendations for meals content wise carb/protein/fat ratios and sizes.

Morning All so another 7.3 but at least its not an 8. @Bcgirl best wishes for the biopsy. @OrsonKartt you know I am interested in your situation because I think I am heading in that direction. Are you still on basal (background) insulin so maybe that can be increased along with you eating low carb. Have a good Sunday everyone.
