What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

Somewhere between 5.2 and 6.5….usually the Dexcom and blood test are really close.
Hubby got his new car yesterday…we spent three hours at the insurance place…argggg.
Still hot, warnings are gone because it cools at night, but low 30s during the day…it feels very hot. Went to the lake this afternoon but I had zero energy. Maybe just too much at the gym…today was leg day, 15 min walk, 25 min bike ride..maybe a rest day is in order.
 
Summer feels like it’s over.

Admittedly it’s very early but I’m wearing jeans instead of shorts and a couple of layers of long sleeves for the first time in ages.

Summer you were lovely.

Blood glucose levels according to libre are six point seven.
 
5.7 today, Dexcom had a meltdown so we won’t count that number. Finally got a call from the hospital, go in this Friday for the biopsy. Happy with that. We just came back from one of our beautiful local lakes, gorgeous! It’s a hot one here again so hanging at the lake was super special.
Did a light workout at the gym today..some abs, a very easy yoga class and then the slowest three mile bike ride in history. Making a huge Cobb salad for supper…must go fry up some bacon…it’s a must!
