5.3 libre.
managed to wrap up a fair bit of xmas pressies got list done just a few presents still need to get going to try shop local see if can find something in the wee town stay in.

Txt this morning reminding me appt for 10th dec very handy having nhs telephone reminders thought it was the 12th for some odd reason lol just as well for reminders! Wish got reminders for all hosp appts. Still trying to work out solution for way home hopefully not via taxi which appears to be only option as not allowed to drive nor use public transport. Haven't had any luck with patient transport will try them again this morning failing that think i'm just going to ignore and use public transport for the several hour trip back.

@ChrisT2 hope ur colds on the mend

@Bcgirl hows your friends hubby doing? winner for the 4's and 5's daytime hugs for the morning difference.

@DEBBIESCOTT i found libre to be a little more consistand 'presoaking' inserting a good few hours (sometimes overnight) before starting the new one up natched fingerpricks a little closer have you tried something like that to help with some of the more erratic readings?

Put new one in 24 hours before starting it, they’re always the same, accurate if sitting down, during exercise can read 3-4 highrt
Good luck for your hospital appointment

6.0 this morning, yeah!
We found an injured owl last night. I love owls, so incredibly beautiful! It was heartbreaking. He’s (or she) tiny, a Sawwhet owl. He was on the ground in the woods and didn’t move when we approached.. We brought the sweet thing home for safety….too many coyotes, cats and dogs out there…it was thankfully still alive this morning. He is now at the local wildlife Park in good hands. We can call tomorrow to see how he’s doing.
Gym today, there was supposed to be a yoga class but the instructor didn't show. I was urged to lead the class by the rest of the participants (I’m not an instructor but have done yoga for years) so I did ….unofficially as I’m not certified. It was so much fun.
Happy to see my blood sugar back to normal.
No real update on the fellow with the ultra high blood sugar. Apparently he’s waiting on test results but is on insulin at this time. And eating pasta…oh dear….

Five point seven at six thirty

I can hear the rain from my bed

Can’t decide if it’s time to get up or hide from the world in the comfort and warmth for just a bit longer

5.1 bucketing it down with rain, yellow warning for rain for next couple of days.

Amber warning for wind the joys. wonder if it will be possible to goto hospital tomorrow OR indeed if i can go can i GET BACK :O packing overnight bag just incase. chasing up consultant/dsn asked for advice regarding tomorrows steriod based spinal injection still waiting several weeks on. Maybe the weathers being nice forcing potential rescheduling

Come on weather play ball i get seasick at the best of times don't mind the rain so much.

7.1 today. Been pretty miserable still with cold. Sore throat and lost my voice completely yesterday which probably pleased rest of family as silenced my moans and groans. BS all over the place but no surprise as living on a diet of Night Nurse and sore throat tabs. Amazing how something as simple as a winter cold can knock me for six, at least it should be gone by Xmas.

Good morning everyone. My fasting blood glucose was 4.61 mmol/L at 5 a.m. today. It’s partly cloudy and cold here in Northern California, though not as cold as in the UK. With the holidays here, it’s nice to see people happy and joyful. Have a wonderful day, everyone.
