What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

8.4 still wallowing in the 8's. Recent experience has found that when the wheels come off it takes no time at all to boost the readings but several days, maybe even weeks to get them back down and under some sort of control. Starting that long journey and Libre fitting in New Year which should help. Got to keep smiling and relish the challenge.

7.5 at 6am. Woke up itching everywhere, had fresh cream 2 days ago and have paid the price of dairy since with nasty readings and itchy, but no rash yet. Going for a work out to try and get the itch out

6.2 today. Getting warmer…yippee. It did snow a wee bit yesterday, nothing terrible. The roads, the main ones, are pretty good, the side roads…not so much. Did get to the gym for a nice walk, some abs, legs and a tough yoga class. Just sipping my after lunch tea. It’s cloudy but only minus 3.
Four weeks until Mexico! Yes, the countdown is on.

libre 5.3 got fed up with alarms last night turned it off putting down to compression low fingerprick 4.8 libre said 3.2. so tempted to try my stomach or something to see if that helps with compression lows.

@Lainie71 hope the itch got better for you. my mum used to use e45 itch relief came in a fairly large pump bottle said it worked pretty good

@Bcgirl where in mexico u off to. little further south for you, hopefully find it nice and cosy

Libre 2.9 (keeping the last sensor on for the heck of it til it runs out); dexcom and fingerprick 6.7. So glad I'm switching to dexcom, just kicking myself for relying on dodgy libre readings for far too long (esp the overnight ones)

7.5 this morning and not itching as I took an antihistamine last night and slept for ages. Felt hung over without the alcohol. Didn't manage a work out yesterday but will tomorrow

6.8 today.
Cloudy and cool, it feels like snow but it’s not forecast…fingers crossed it doesn’t!
Good workout today, leg weights and a good walk. Did some shopping…don’t know how the roads are worse today than yesterday, it’s slippery!

Still in the high 8's at a rather disappointing 8.7 especially after a low carb day yesterday. Expect to be some time before morning readings improve although did drop to low 6's during the day which has been a first for last couple of weeks. Work to be done.
