Well said,"whatever works for a person is the right choice!welcomesome people like says in your profile diet only careful on the carbs. some require various oral meds, whilst others inject insulin, i do believe there is a couple that use weighloss injections, no personal experience of that so can't tell how that works or not. i'm in a strange situ, t1/lada honeymoon stage and was lucky enough to come off insulin (will need to go back on eventually). whatever works for a person is the right choice exercise by the way helps muscles to use insulin body has a little more effeciently and helps to reduce possible insulin resistence. If have dawn phenom (raises pre wake up) some can halt with a couple of nuts or simular others aren't as lucky. depends whats right for that particular person. despite some other unkown/or known variables throwing numbers askew on occassion. most ok days, not so good days alongside bad days sometimes at least for me can see no rhyme nor reason. have a good browse round the forum, and feel free ask questions in relevant forums best wishes
Glad you got a pleasant surprise with your hba1c @Bcgirli got my HBA1C results, 5.9%, or 41 ….very, very unexpected, I had such a bad time over the past months. I feel very lucky and am full on into proper eating. I did get a wee scare though as my hemoglobin was slightly low and platelets slightly high….need to up the red meat.
