Mine was 9.0. It's quite often 9.0, but then I'm all over the place. Nearly 7 years of this and still no real control. I find stress makes things jump about. I sleep badly and often have nightmares and in the mornings I'm at 9 or 10 or 8.5. Any tips to improve the situation? I'd be very grateful, if only to get my DNS off my back

and I sometimes test when I get to work at 9.00am rather than at 6.30 when I get up. Is that the wrong thing to do?

Yes ideally test before feet on the floor.
