It's a mystery @13lizanne, but it seems to work for @JohnEGreen and me.
I got a fbg of 5.4 today after fish & chips (and two hot cross buns) last night. Maybe I should eat fish & chips every night!

Morning all.
5.4 this morning.
1500 calories yesterday. Low carbish. 2 protein powder shakes .Not getting enough protein.
Did feel a bit empty during the night like I was short on food.
Only 2 metformins 500
Maybe 2000 calories today?
Will see what happens.
Still not on insulin defying the doctors predictions.
Maybe even come off metformin Will see
