What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

Sat 25th. 4.3 today, my lowest reading in over 4 months

woke up in bed at 2.30am sweating, rose to check did I leave the heating on,was unsteady, head throbing, feeling decidedly unwell then I slowly realised this must be my first hypo, SCARY!!!, blood sugar tested at 3.5, had three glucose tabs and it all cleared up within 15 mins
 
Fasting this morning was 7.0. Lower each morning I test
 
Mine was 14.9 after hitting 17.6 yesterday. Saw the specialist diabetic nurse yesterday at my Health Centre.
Took my Metformin plus new Livagliptin prescribed yesterday and checked it again 3 hours later ... 21.3 and Panic Stations ! ! !
But 37 minutes later it was 16.9
I was suspicious about all this and found another meter kit. This recorded 12.9 just 8 minutes after my 16.9 reading.
Checked again at 6pm with both meters. One said 8.9, the other 11.1 !
I'm beginning to seriously doubt the accuracy of these blood glucose meters.
