What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

4.7 this morning

That's the highest it's been for my morning readings this month.

Beginning to wonder if my meter is faulty!

(Still on the Newcastle Diet)
 
Hmm, had scrambled egg and a few blueberries with Fage full fat yoghurt for breakfast checked just before lunch and it was 8.1, think the blueberries may have to go
 
Getting a little despondent to be honest, carbs right down to below 40g yesterday, no snacking before bed so well over 11 hrs without food and still 7.9 this am grrrrrrr.

I think the same Tm6t7, I was 8.1 after my Fage yogurt and blueberries from a 5.2!! Didn't even have loads of berries
 
@MissPooh it's a shame as it was nice, I'll stick with some cinnamon on it now
Have you been doing anything different to get your fasting number so good?
 
No Tm - it's been sitting around 6.0 - 6.5 lately, today was a fluke I think, unless it's a new trend for the coming week. I have been walking more, like much more, so I'm not sure if that's helping.
 
I guess the exercise does help, I'm a bit lazy on a Sunday, so guess I'll have to do more everyday!!
 
6.6 for me today. Slowly going down.
