Hi @Ymdawd didn't think of that used to do it for sinus relief some time ago, usually the changes in temperature makes me cough more, but I'm willing to try anything at this time. I get regular chest infection in winter had everything over years from bronchitis To pneumonia my doctor usually gives me Co -Amoxiclave but I cannot get an appointment until Friday morning. So thank you for your welcome advice, will let you know how I get on. KYou should try inhaling steam to help relieve your cough/sore chest

Hi. @Ymdawd just given the hot steam and towel over head a try for last 10 minutes, initially I coughed more then it eased don't really know how long I should breath in the steam for, any recommendations? It's a relief to get more than a few moments without coughing. I've not been taking anything for the cough because I'm still on the doxycycline until Friday and wasn't sure if I was able to mix other meds with this antibiotics, I realise there are different antibiotics for different problems is this why this antibiotics isn't working for the cough has well Has for Lymes Disease, and the cough may be viral and no antibiotics is going to work for viruses I assume.? Thank you again, will do the steam treatment throughout the day nice to get some good advice your a star in my book? Breathe in nice and slowly, hold for a few seconds and then gently breathe out. For up to 10 minutes or so. You can repeat this as often as you like. Plus drink more water to keep your chest well hydrated
@Ymdawd I. Have been drinking loads of drinks including water throughout the day and night already had water coffee fruit tea and a green tea since 1 am and I have found it's keeping chest loose, I will keep up with steam treatment and thanks for best way to do this. GG...sounds awful...once had a cough for over three weeks...little sleep...exhausting...hope it eases soon...I do remember the old steam treatment...sometimes my old mum would put a spoon of Vics into it...then smother the rest on us...used to wake up practically 'Glowing' the next morning.Hi. @Ymdawd just given the hot steam and towel over head a try for last 10 minutes, initially I coughed more then it eased don't really know how long I should breath in the steam for, any recommendations? I remember that feeling well...used to be a fanatic with exercise...always enjoyed that post work out 'lift' it gave me...I do still exercise...now at a more leisurely pace...your weigh is coming down nicely...almost 2 stone...so clearly on the right track...TBH...not a great fan of the NHS dieticians I've seen...the eat well plate etc...carbs...but...some are more enlightened than others...hopefully yours is one of them...good luck...be interested to hear what recommendations they make.4.6 this morning
Well did my first gym session yesterday morning feel like I’ve been hit by a busI’m going again today made me feel good yesterday
