What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

Last thing I eaten was at 7:30pm
Went bed at 11pm

Good morning. First visit here as newly diagnosed (6 weeks ago) and just signed up. 10.3 this morning pre-coffee. Still high but a lot lower than its been. Very interesting ready all the posts. Can see I will gain a lot of info from you all.

My latest blood test htc1 level was 52 down from 60 so my gp isn't medicating me for the diabetes for the moment. Also have uti so on antibiotics for three days.
 
mine was 8.6 by time I got round to testing at 11am but still had not eaten or drank anything by then so still fasting, still trying to work things out as it was amazingly 4.6 when I tested at midnight before going to bed ( long, long time since been so low - ok I have only been testing for a few days but drs been doing it for year and they told me my avg is usually around 8.1
 
8.3 this morning, had a hypo at 7.30pmlast night and thus, the bigger number, drat

Traveled to Oxford St and back in under 3 hours
Even had half a bar of choc while travling

Yes, that's odd. Doing what you did would send me hyper not hypo. I was blooming grumpy this morning when I got a 10.4 for no good reason either!
