I'm considering switching my diet completely around to carnivore. Once my higher carb food is all eaten. (Of course this means adjusting my insulin.)
But I'm mainly posting about food choices.
I know alot of people need plant foods but I don't believe we do.
In addition to that I'm not able to purchase both animal and plant foods. But at this time it's mostly carby processed foods. Sometimes potatoes and sometimes cheese. Depending on sales.
So I feel that even carnivore is healthier than what I eat now.
The only drawback I can see right now is that because it's more costly my calories will be much lower.

But what would you choose?
Lower calories or more with worse foods?

One of the main things with carnivore is”eat until you feel satiated’

This prevents the need to snack…. So it’s difficult to do that unless you can afford it, You’ll need to find the best value meats and eggs etc.. it can still be done though

If you don’t do the ‘eat until satiated’ you are more likely to fail at carnivore

So you really need to determine first if its worth the effort of trying

I don't have that choice.
Because of my extensive period of experimentation of what foods I could eat.
You have to find a tailored diet for you, decided by you, that gets you healthier and in control.
Like I did.
Calories have nothing to do with what is causing you to question what you eat.
Finding cheaper healthier options is always sensible and logical.
You must have a supermarket where you can find cheaper fresh food.
I eat nothing but fresh food, cooked by me, and always to my dietary restrictions.
To do anything else, will make me ill.
