What would you do to have a few days without diabetes?

At the moment I would do anything not to have to test, adjust, be hypo, hyper, basically just have a few days where I could just be me. Not sure what I'd give up or do to achieve this. Wouldn't mind never eating chocolate ever again but couldn't give up my glass or two of wine a week.

Not sure to be honest, but it would be so good not to clock watch the entire waking day.

Late onset T1, several auto immune issues.
Humalogmix25 twice a day, Methotrexate 25mg once per week, FolicAcid 5mg once per week, prednisolone 5mg daily, Allopurinol 300mg, Calcichew-D3 800iu, Levothyroxine 50mcg, Atenolol 50mg, Losarten 100mg, Aspirin 75mg, Nicorandil 20mg, Nitrolingual GTN spray, Metformin 2000mg, Allimemazine 10mg, Lanzoprazole 30mg, Atorvastatin 20mg, Co Codamol 8/500mg, Depo Medrone (Methylprednisolone) or double Prednisolone for 7 days in case of RA flare.

I agree with Alan - definitely not having to be an obsessive clock watcher/meter checker!

A few days break would be nice, not having to inject or test bg multiple times a day would be heaven, eating wise I don't think I'd do anything different.

This thread reminds me of a convo with my kids a few days ago. They were chatting about what superpower they'd like to have - flying, seeing into the future, able to lift buildings etc etc. They asked me and I just said, being able to produce my own insulin and not have diabetes!
If only life was that simple!

fro a few days, I really wouldn't see the point, knowing that it would be back to more of the same again.

Complete reversal/elimination, that would be a different story altogether

You know what, I can't remember life before diabetes so I don't really know what I'm missing out on. I'd rather keep it that way.
