What's everyone doing for Diabetes Awareness Month

Hi there, I haven't thought about it at the moment, but getting Type 1 symptoms into the child's red book, I think is a necessity ( to save lives) and I hope it will be a positive petition and I will give support as much as possible.

I was thinking about this picture...

I've decided to blog more on a wide variety of diabetes topics. For each one I'm doing a bit of research and publishing them. I've given my blog a bit of a revamp and it now has its very own url in line with my interests and a bit of a pun. I'm trying to achieve an average of one per day, so we'll see how we get on!!! Feel free to click and go.

Really enjoying the blog; thanks for sharing.

Well we are on Day 25 of Diabetes Awareness Month. So far I've written 28 blog posts (and it's felt like I've been writing a dissertation) and done far more research than I would ever have imagined! I've a couple more interesting (I hope) posts to write. I've also learned what the topics are that generate hits...

The Days in the Life stuff proved to be quite popular and my tweeting about it got retweeted by Diabetes UK and some other eminent phsyicians that participate on Twitter, including one with a link to the Forum topic.

How is everyone else getting on with their Diabetes Awareness Month stuff?

How did you all get on with your Diabetes Awareness things?

I eventually wrote a PhD thesis - thirty five thousand words across 32 posts that amounts to 52 pages of stuff, so I met my target of an average of one per day.
