Whats happening

Im sooo confused and fed up I was diagnosed type 1 February this year ive had really good control my levels never going over 9 on lantus and novarapid and carb counting. Well the past 4 days im having serious problems getting my levels under 10 especially in the evening I take a correction dose that doesnt help I changed the cartridge in my pen just in case still not helping. Im goimg to bed with levels around 14 arrrggghhh

sounds like your 'honeymoon phase' may be over. this means your pancreas has stopped producing insulin altogether. It may mean you have to increase your lantus/ carb to insulin ratio. Its best to call the nurse and see what they have to say!
