Last week after many tests I have been told I have sensory axonal polyneuropathy maybe caused by my diabetes

Told this by letter..... no explanation what it is any idea?

https://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/317212#Types This might help a little to know what's what. Basically it comes down to nerve damage due to high blood sugars. Nerves take a very, very long time to heal, and the first step to healing would be getting your blood sugars back into the normal range. What are they now (last HbA1c?), what medication are you on, and most importantly, what are you eating? https://josekalsbeek.blogspot.com/2019/11/the-nutritional-thingy.html might help you change your diet to get your blood sugars down.

You might want to supplement b12 to help heal your nerve-endings, as well.

Good luck!
Jo
