Husband been doing ok, has got his readings down from 10-12 to high 7s. But today he had an 8.8 . He had supper of 4 small slices of LC bread with cheese then 5 cherries + some blueberries (frozen fruit) in double cream.
Worth a try.Well that's true, he is tired today. Thanks HSSS, maybe next time try 2 slices of the bread and no fruit. get a better idea that way.
Wow, I didn't know that! There is a frequently quoted article that describes the 42 things that can affect our blood sugars. What we eat is only one of them.
Other things include weather, stress, exercise, alcohol, illness, drugs, … and more.
This is why it is recommended to look for trends rather than a single higher/lower reading.

That's good to know. Thanks for updating us.He does seem to be settling back into the high 7s/low 8s again so this must be what's happened. THANKS EVERYBODY!![]()
Got frozen rasps and blueberries added to the Sainsbugs order for this week. Will give him a handful every day with his yoghurt and cream. We're all different but, for what it's worth, I can get away with rounding off lunch with a few raspberries, blackberries or blackcurrants every once in a while.
