What's that all about ??

Went to bed last night with a reading of 21 yep very high so took all the correction according to my accu-chek expert ,woke up at2.30 with a hypo of 1.9 !! What is that all about ?? Can't wait till Friday when I'm supposed to be fitted with a pump x

Hi I hope you are feeling a lot better now. Just wondering who programmed your meter. My DSN did mine ( in the beginning) and it really didn't work well with me,so I gradually changed it and my dose is 1 unit is supposed to bring me down by 3, but I have to be careful as it doesn't always work in my favour and go too low.
Good luck and fingers crossed with starting the pump on Friday.

That looks like possibly an incorrect test maybe something on your finger or lancet that has corrupted the reading if I get a number as high as that I always ensure I recheck after washing hands and changing lancet which may help I also had an accu check Xpert but the DSN really didn't like it I still use it as a meter as I like the size of it but I am now on a pump and can't believe the difference hba1c has dropped from 77 to 50 in 4 months

Thank you for replys. Just had the call from dsn and it's defiantly going ahead on Friday yay so excited don't want to go through another night like last night think that maybe the lowest I have every been . Yeah dsn set it up for me it's been fine up to now though . Yeah and maybe there was something on my finger I do try to be careful with that but who know yeah you maybe right . And glad your reading are so much better now I'm hopeing mine will get better I know it will be hard work but it will be worth it . X
