Hi. Do ask for any help with the insulin 'bag' you have etc. Insulin treatment for T1 and T.15 is very similar except that a T1.5 may still be progressing hence the body may still be producing more inuslin than a T1 would.
This absolutely appalling! Are you in the UK? If so, your GP is not achieving the standard of care that you are legally entitled to.
First of all, go in and ask for a referral to a DAFNE course. Then ask for an immediate referral to a diabetic clinic. If you are Type 1 you should seeing an endocrinologist regularly. And you should receive training in how to manage your diabetes. Insist on it.
For now, you can ask for help here. Tell us more and maybe we can help a bit.
First things to tell us:
What insulin/s are you taking? What times of day? What doses?
What are you eating?
When are you testing your blood sugar? What kind of results are they showing?
