Never heard of it!
The skatilites, sound like a reggae band???
What's it got to do with the weather?
'The answer, my friend is, blowin' in the wind.

Must be a gale or something.

Storm up to 32.7 and beyond that you have a hurricane. So what would it be classed as beyond 24.5 please
Some might class 13.9 to 17.2 as near gale. Still, it is a lot wind.13.9 to 24.5. metres per second. That is average wind, not gusts.
Thank youStorm up to 32.7 and beyond that you have a hurricane.
Thanks RRB, it was a quiet night (maybe because Southampton were playing) and the due booked didn't turn up so we had to talk to each other ha!Yes I did that thanks, teenager decided not to go, it's the first night back, so haven't paid the term fees yet, so snuggled down on the sofa and watched Chris Packham on BBC2.
Very windy weather tonight, heavy rain earlier, cold, so I think it's hot water bottle time tonight
Hope you had a good night at the Coalie
First thing I do when a thunderstorm is coming close is to disconnect all phones and everything computer related.*%"?$* Hell !!! Sitting here at the computer in silence and then a flash and immediately and almighty CRASH. I've lived through quite a lot of thunderstorms but never heard anything like this. Used to love them, but this one scared me witless.
Edit - I have never actually felt the house shake before - scary!
