Apparently, with the new generation defibs, you can program what type of voice to instruct you (like some GPS's). I would love to have Billy Connolly telling me how to use the defibrilator !!They sure are, the whole course is much more streamline or so it seemed. Was definitely fun.

Hi Neale, its 8.30pm here and temperature is 24 degrees C. Been fair bit of rain of late but as it's warm, not a problem. Can't see myself living where it is sooo cold! living on Gold Coast Australia
It's about 12 hours earlier here and there is a minus in front of the 24. Would you care to trade?its 8.30pm here and temperature is 24 degrees C. Been fair bit of rain of late but as it's warm, not a problem. Can't see myself living where it is sooo cold! living on Gold Coast Australia
Once when I was young and foolish I spent a weekend in the snow - and NO, I don't want to swap! My motto now is " if palm trees don't grow - I don't go". Actually when sometimes it is 35C and the humidity 100%, an hour or two in the snow is a nice thought. It's about 12 hours earlier here and there is a minus in front of the 24. Hi Doriand, I'm new type 2, brought about by a medical condition that requires me to take very large dose of Panafortelone (starting at 100mg per day, but now down to 37.5) and it has caused me to become diabetic. Finding it very hard at my age to change . The information I'm getting from this UK site is marvellious. Only by cutting Carbs well below what the local experts are telling me is right, have I been able to get my sugars somewhat under control. I think that the diet industry spends a fortune trying to keep the average person confusedHi Neale,
Welcome to this forum. I'm writing to you all the way from Central Victoria. There's a few from Oz that make regular contributions to the UK forum and you'll find most of the Diabetes lingo similar to Australia. The exception is Diabetes Type 1.5...(never heard of that one before)Anyway have fun with the blogs - never know, you might learn something as well...I know, I did!
