What's the weather where you're at.

Don't know what the temp is, but forecast frost for tomorrow morning. And I've got to go out tonight, and tomorrow night, and Weds night, and Thursday night, and Saturday night, so I'm hoping it's going to warm up. As long as it doesn't snow for Sat as I've got to get to London on the train and we all know what a sprinkle of snow or ice can do to the trains.

1 degree C. Supposed to be down to -3 C here on the West Coast of Scotland. No wind and dry, neglible cloud cover. Thermals going on when I'm heading out again, brrrrr lol.

And a sprinkling of leaves too Chris lol

Today, Monday, it was a little cold with blue skies and white fluffy clouds, so lovely, but didn't do any washing today, so I will do it, hoping weather will be as good tomorrow.

RRB

Good luck & be safe!

Well nearly slipped and ended up on my butt lol. Thermals are on, in visiting my big sis for a cuppa. The odd cloud, full moon (woooo lol) and icy with a current temp of -1 C

The moon has been beautiful over Florida skies the last couple of nights. We're don't have it as cold as you guys but it's raining & it makes the cold feel worse...
Enjoy the visit w/your sister and the cuppa!

P.S. I thought you guys All say 'bum' instead of our American more crass 'butt'...
I've got my family all saying 'bum' for ages.

Thanks, Eddie. It's Maureen, btw.
Have to go back out to 2 separate functions in this cold rain...Fyi, 5 hours behind you...in our present 'currency', it's 49° now but low tonight is 39! Sounds like a heat wave, compared to some!

Cheers Maureen, us Brits are weird when quoting temps...in the winter they'll say it in Celsius as -1 sounds psychologically colder than 30. When it comes to summer they'll say "wow it's in the 80s" rather than twenties celsius. I use both scales and curiously -40 C is the exact same as -40 F.

That is curious.
Thus far, all my interactions re temps with ppl from Great Britain (not wishing to presume anything about the recent election...re Scotland, for example ) have been in Celsius. Are you type 2?
Hope the moon here will remain big & bright for my return later...

Maureen, I'm type 2 on insulin. Maybe it is a generational issue with the younger ones using metric now. I still use lbs and ounces for cooking and miles for distance

I'm surprised to learn you do that. I thought you guys were completely convertex in all those respects.
And how are you doing on insulin? I take 25 units @ night via insulin pen, for which I'm very grateful. Also take Metformin ER 2xdaily. Have only recently become seriously compliant...Hence, have got my numbers much better.

I am fine on insulin, take 52 units at breakfast at 36 units at dinner. 88 units a day is a lot but as they say in the USA..."big dude" lol. Btw I'm not overweight.

I still use the old currency for weights & measures and as far as I know there's no legislation yet that says we have to use mtrs & grms so why do street signs often say xx mtrs to library etc. Grrr

It's all sooo confusing, we're hybrids now when it comes to weights and measures lol.
Current Weather here - Overcast, heavy rain and near gale winds, 6 C but feels brrr lol
