What's your post lunch blood sugar level this afternoon?

Going backwards today (due to no breakfast, and a bit of a liver dump) :
7.5 (pre) -> 6.9 (post)

Robbity

Today it was 5.3 before then 4.2. 2hrs after. I'd had a long walk after lunch hence the lower figure

My post lunch reading was really bad today pre lunch it was 5.2 I then thought I was being really good when eating out I ordered a Jacket potatoe with tuna and mayo, I even only ate half of it and my post lunch reading was 9 :-(

Today my levels were high because I had latte 1hr before lunch :-
6.6 before and 4.8 after ( following short walk)

5.5 before and 4.8 after. I had one of those days where I just felt like snacking so I had a couple of slices cheese, a piece of bacon with a dollop of sour cream, a large handful of sf choc chips and a cup of pepsi max.

Don't know, didn't test my blood sugar, but it felt pretty normal. ;)

Well I last ate @ 7:30 am and my count was 14.6 when I woke up this morning, was feeling hungry now (its 11:10) now but was feeling really tired? So went and took my sugar count .... Its 25.5?? Just lost me appetite..... Wondering if maybe its the chewable folic acid & vit b12 tablet I took an hour ago? Will take my blood sugar again @ 14:00 .....

I am ?type 1 ? type 2, no one can seem to make up there mind. I am on an insulin pump, best thing I ever did.
Went to bed at 8.4. Woke this morning with 6.7 before breakfast. My usual breakfast is Nutrigrain with light milk and coffee with sweetner. 1 hour after breakfast = 9.8. 2hrs after = 11.7. May have to look at changing my cereal.

Hi Charmaine, is the level above before or after meal. Also are you on meds and or insulin?

Hi bambee and clive ...at the moment, no meds, only hubby working at moment, so sadly no medical aid, I buy Victoza when we have some of a financial gap here and there? You would be shocked if you saw our government hospitals? And they would just put me on insulin!! Which I know is not necessary right now! When I find work again, I will go back to my diabetic DR .... I just need to watch what I eat .... Its a little difficult when you have a certain budget to adhere to to make it through the month. Starch and sugar is in most of my monthly groceries. But thanks for caring B-)
