Whats your weirdest phobia?

noooo hating housework isnt a phobia, its a medical condition (its not your fault) so the wife says anyway
Then I must be really really ill....I absolutely loath it!

Corduroy or velvet. Cannot touch them. Even if I think about touching them, I get shivers. Also, the thought of tin foil in my mouth is not good.

Definitely agree about tinfoil in mouth, it sets your teeth on edge. Or I reckon it would. Haven't tried it, but have a lingering memory of accidental foil in mouth.

Sticky marmalade pot or chutney pot. Yuk yuk yuk yuk yuk yuk yuck!!!

Actually, though I love it to bits, this is a dead dodgy thread, we're ALL going to become hyper-phobic hyper-phobes .

Have loads:

Spiders

Dentist's chair

GP surgery - Palpitations and sweats and high BP

Cockroaches

Falling over - I watch my feet so carefully then fall all the time. Recently fell in a new patient's home, tripping down a step then falling through the bathroom door smacking my head on the sink. My introduction was 'Hi, I'm Lil the flying Community Nurse'. Shame!!!!

Crowds

Trains

Birds

Closed spaces

Polystyrene - scared of biting it but am totally compelled to do just that.

Loud noises

Germs

I could go on but I sound crackers. Ironically I work in Mental Health and do therapy with people with phobias!!!!

Husband is terrified of Sunflowers, even pictures of them.

wow, your afraid of it but feel the need to do it? thats cool lol

Andy

Nuts, not cool! It's weird 'cos I'm really scared of it but it's kind of like 'it's going to happen anyway so just do it!' When I get my Lush delivery hub has to throw the shavings straight out, same with new fridge etc. When I am in B&Q I have to miss the aisle with Polystyrene in otherwise I might leave teeth marks.

yes weird of course but cool because i almost get it lol you actually facing your fear head on i reckon, its how i deal with things im scared of,

jewellery even the thought of it makes me feel sick

awwww how about the face piecings and all that....***!! ive told the kids to not come home if they ever think bout it

Sharks & claustrophobia. Not very wierd, but together makes me think I've been eaten in a past life and wanted back out lol.. Dared the ocean last year actually (facing my fears) and what should emerge from the depths.. A giant seaturtle! Thought i was a gonner for a minute lol :-o
