Hi All,

A couple of times recently I have injected and on removing the needle I have sprayed insulin everywhere.... So obviously not getting my proper dose? Any advice on what I should do when this happens?

Try leaving the needle in longer say 10 seconds. It could also be a faulty pen. Test after every half hour to see what is happening. Hope that helps.

Thanks, somehow never thought it could be the pen... had it so long its been a reliable friend!!! But it really is playing up now, so I guess I'll get another one!

Hi @Bongtodd . Do you rotate your injection sites? Hitting hard lumpy tissue from constant over use of an injection site could be a factor. Definitely get a new pen, there not made to last forever.
