Re the Libre Readers: mine came as part of an offer with 2 of the original Libre sensors. I don't have a fancy phone and my Reader has the added ability to work as a meter for both glucose and ketone checks, and as it (presumably!) used the same software I liked the fact that it would have been a closer match with my sensor readings than my usual glucose meter. And I still use it sometimes if I want to check ketone levels so it's been a handy "investment" for me,.
